The Story

AMC-300H is an automatic slurry coating system. It can make sheet-to-sheet and roll-to-roll coatings using multiple slot die, blade, and screen printing methods up to 300 mm in width. The selection of coating methods is fully controlled and programmed by a PC. It is a research platform for researching new-generation films for batteries, fuel cells, and perovskite solars, as well as biomembranes

Slurry Feeder
  • Air-tight 2000 ml slurry container made of SS 316 stainless steel
  • Vacuum can reach 10-2 torr by MTI mechanical pump ( optional) for mixing with KF25 port
  • Positive inert gas pressure can reach 0.6 MPa for high-viscosity slurry with 1/4 gas inlet and valve.
  • A rotary stirring blade is built inside the container and driven by a DC motor
  • Stirring speed: 0 - 400 rpm adjustable
  • A heating jacket is installed outside the container with a 150ºC max. working temperature
  • The slurry position sensor is installed to ensure the machine stops running when the slurry is empty
  • Screw pump： Feeding speed: 4~48ml/min adjustable。 Feeding accuracy: 1%
 Coating Platform
  • Dimension: 350 mm width x 600 mm length made of aluminum alloy
  • Vaccumable when making sheet-to-sheet coating
  • Heatable up to 120oC
 Screen Printing
  • A substrate is held by the vacuum chuck with an area of 300 x 500 mm
  • The vacuum pump is built into the bottom of the machine
  • Effective printing area: 280 x 350 mm Max.
  • Substrate thickness: 0 - 80 mm adjustable
 Dry Oven
  • Convection Heating zone length: 700 mm
  • Max. heating temperature: Max. 150°C,with accuracy: ±1°C
Roll to Roll Device
  • Width is adjustable from 50 mm to 350 mm for the flexible substrate material
  • The deviation control mechanism is built in
  • For speed-control mode, the maximum speed is around 1.2 m/min (speed resolution is 1 mm/s). 
  • For tension-control mode, the maximum tension is 5 N and the film traverse speed is dependent on the calendering speed, normally <1.5 meters/min

Glovebox ( Optional)
  • The coating system can be placed inside three units of gloveboxes upon request
  • A gas purifying system is available with < 1 PPM of humidity and oxygen
