Steps to make a sample pellet
|
- Mixing and grinding chemical powder in an agate mortar or ball mill
- Calcine mixed the powder in a high-temperature furnace at a suitable temperature
- Grinding the calcined powder again in a mortar
- Put the calcined powder into the die
- Pressing a sample by a pressing machine under suitable pressure
- Take out a pellet sample from die
- Sintering the pellet under suitable temperature
- Then, a new material sample is formed!
