The Story

MSK-SFM-3 is a Planetary Ball Mill with four 3 liter Nylon jars (12 L capacity) The product is extensively used in the fields of Geology, Mining, Metallurgy, Electronics, Construction Material, Ceramics, Chemical Engineering, Light Industry, Medicine, and Environmental Protection, etc.

  • The 3000W transformer will be needed if operation at 110V

  • Four 3000 ml  ( 136 ID x 220 Deep, mm) Nylon jars are included

  • 32 ZrO2 (YSZ) balls of various sizes are included (8 balls per jar). If extra YSZ balls are needed please click the pic below to order.
  • Various jars are available as optional (click products option to order) up to 1500ml capacity
Note: How to achieve finer or desired particles via ball mill is a research project, which is depended on the material to be mixed, grinding time and speed, combination of grinding jar and milling ball, etc. It is your responsibility to find the best milling procedure based on your material. Welcome you come to MTI lab at California to do a test before purchase

Sieves
  • 1 pcs 14 mesh for separating samples is available for separate purchase
  • In order to mill efficiently, material particles shall be less than 14 mesh (1.12mm)
Optional
 
  • A larger ball mill with a 4x10L jar ( 40 L in total) is available upon request.
  • PTFE and Stainless steel jars are available upon request 
  • Forced cold air  to cool during milling is available at the extra cost
Material for milling
  • Max. input particle size: < 10mm for brittle material and < 3 mm for other materials
  • Min output particle size: wet milling < 1 micron, and dry milling < 20 micron
Compliance
  • CE Certified
  • NRTL certification is available at an extra cost
