This is a Dual Element K Thermocouple for use on the MTI KSL1200XL5 and KSL1200XL5AC Five-Side Heating Atmosphere-Controlled Muffle Furnace

Application Note
  • There are 2 polarities for K type thermocouple: positive and negative. Please check polarity of K K-type thermocouple before use. Wrong polarity may result temperature measuring error.
  • It is also easy to test the polarity of K type thermocouples. The negative wire is MORE magnetic than the positive wire. Put a magnet up to each wire as one will be more magnetic than the other.
