The Story

KSL-1000X is an anti-corrosive muffle furnace with a hidden heating coil inside the ceramic chamber, which is designed to calcine some corrosive materials, such as sulfides and chlorides, up to 1,050ºC. The venting port is built on the top of the furnace for exhausting gas.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Double-layer structure with a cooling fan to keep furnace exteriors safe to touch
  • Heavy-duty heating corundum chamber where the heating coil is inserted inside 
  • One venting port is built on top of the furnace
  • Can processing corrosive material
Heating Chamber 
  • Material: sintered corundum
  • Dimensions: 12" D x 8" W x 5" H
  • Heating element: FeCrAl coil inserted inside the chamber
  • Three sides heating: left, right & bottom.
  • K type thermal couple with alumina protection sleeve
  • Venting port of alumina on the top of the chamber

Application Notes
  • For preserving the longevity of the furnace life, we recommend the heating rate not to exceed 10°C /minThe cooling rate shall also not exceed 10 °C /min
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
