The MSK-BS058 Explosion-Proof Steel Box provides a safe enclosure chamber for over-charging and forced-discharging of all kinds of battery cells required by the UN38.3 standard (38.3.4.7 & 38.3.4.8), as well as for MTI high-pressure vessel.

SPECIFICATIONS

Chamber Material & Size 
  • Materials: High strength steel (A3 steel) with a thickness of 5 mm
  • Material yield strength: 235 MPa
  • Inside (L × W × H): 500 mm × 500mm × 500mm
  • Outside (L × W × H): 530 mm × 510mm × 660mm
  • Anti-fire base: 10 mm thick bakelite plate
  • Maximum Dimension with door opened: 1080mm
  • Note: The max. capacity of Li-Ion batteries to be tested in the chamber should be limited to 3.8V @150Ah for single-cell or 570Wh for battery pack without protection circus

Feedthrough 
  • 4 rectangular ports (75 × 35mm) at the back of chamber as electric feedthrough

Mobility 
  • Four trolley wheels are installed at the bottom box for easy moving

Application
  • Ideal explosion-proof box with two Latch-Action Toggle Clamps for the high power rechargeable battery testing
