The Story

YLJ-01TA is a compact & precision electric press with a digital pressure gauge up to 450N. It is designed for the precise compressing of small pellets Ø1/4") in the glovebox for ceramics and solid-state battery and liquid Li-ion pouch cells.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 110 - 240V AC (50/60Hz) power adapter, NRTL & CSA certified
  • 24V DC motor, 15W
  • Ar environment compatible

Pressure Control
  • A built-in load cell with a digital display for pressure measurement and control
  • Pressure adjustment range: 50 N - 450N ( 5kg - 45Kg)
  • Digital pressure control with +/- 5N accuracy (0.5 Kg)
  • Dwell time: 2- 9999 min programmable
Working Space
  • Working plate: φ55 mm
  • Max sample height: <100mm
  • Travel distance: 20mm
  • You may add two rectangular aluminum plates ( W 55mm x L 60 mm) to press a pouch cell.
  • The press with rectangular plates (70x58mm) is available upon request at an extra cost.

Compliance
  • CE approval
  • NRTL or CSA (UL 1450) is available upon request at extra cost. 
  • Note: NRTL certification is not necessary due to 24VDC safe device
Application Notes
  • It can be used as a jig for compressing pressure adjustable split test cell, please click the picture below for details:
  • It also can be used for pressing pellets via < 0.5" diameter die in the glove box under both N2 and Ar gas
  • The press machine can be put into the glove-box through the air-lock chamber
