The Story

MSK-1220-W is a heavy-duty wire rolling mill, designed for rolling metallic wire (< RC 50) from 10 to 1 mm, such as Aluminum alloy, Copper, Nickel alloy and stainless steel, etc. It is one of the equipment for metallic wire preparation for WAAM. 

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 208- 240V Three Phase, 50/60Hz 
  • 5.5 KW AC motor (7.5 horsepower)
  • 380VAC, three-phase is available upon request
  • AC Motor 
Rollers
  • The rollers surface consists of a series of grooves with a square cross section, from 10 to 1 mm (side length)
  • The automatic winding roller is build in
  • Roller materials: Hardening DC53
  • Roller size: 120 mm dia x 200 mm width (~4.7" Dia x 8" width)
  • Hardness: HRC 63-65
  • Rolling thickness: 1 - 11 mm adjustable 
Rolling Speed
  • 0 - 6 mm / second adjustable by 22 segments
Compliance
  • CE Certified
  • NRTL certification is available upon request at an extra cost
Application Note
  • Never roll materials with hardness > 50HRC
  • The thickness for each time pressing is dependent on material thickness. Harder material shall be less press thickness, which customer shall test by themselves for the best parameters
  • For some material, you may need to anneal it by furnace after each rolling to avoid work hardening
