The Story

VTF-1200X-LPE is a 5-zone LPE Liquid Phase Epitaxy system for growing YIG thick film. The system consists of five heating zones vertical furnace with the chamber of 6" Diameter up to 1200ºC. The Precision digital temperature controller with 24 segments programmable is built in the furnace with +/- 0.1ºC accuracy, as well as precision, pulling and rotation mechanism with speed range from 0.1 - 50 mm/hour.

Furnace 
  • Porous alumina chamber with 220 mm ID and high purity alumina coating
  • Five heating zones: 5 x 300mm with independent temperature control
  • Max. Working Temperature: 1200ºC (< 2 Hrs.)
  • Standard Working Temperature: 1100ºC (continuous)
  • Power: 400V AC,  Three phase
  • 22 KW Max.

Control Panel
  • PLC touch screen control panel for controlling temperature, pulling speed, rapid downward speed and rotation speed of pulling rod
  • Temp. Controller: 8 steps programmable and auto PID control with +/- 0.1ºC accuracy (Eurotherm inside)
  • Heating Rate: 0~10ºC / min (suggestion at =< 5ºC)
  • Pulling Speed: 0.02 - 5.0 mm/h adjustable
  • Downward speed: 40 mm/minute fixed
  • The rotation speed of Pulling rod: 1- 60 RPM adjustable 
  • Bottom lifting control

Pulling Range 
  • 1000 mm Max. 

Heating Chamber
  • 220 m I.D. solid tube with max. 150 mm crucible without sealed tube
  • 1500 mm in Height ( 5x300 mm)
  • Constant Temperature Zone : 450 mm ( within +/- 1oC) if 5 zone set at same temperature
  • Kathal resistant heating coil
  • 5 pcs K type thermal couple

Temperature Controller
  • Built-in five Eurotherm Temperature Controllers with +/- 0.1ºC accuracy
