The Story

MSK-HRP-04-RD is an automatic Roll to Roll system designed for continuous handling of flexible substrate materials less than 200mm wide. It enables the automatic R2R film calendaring on MTI tabletop calendaring machines (MSK-HRP series). Tension adjustable torque motor for active reeling to maintain a constant tension force on the substrate.

SPECIFICATIONS:


Working Voltage

 Tension Control Version:
  • 220 VAC, +/- 10%, 50/60Hz, single phase
  • 220VAC Power plug is not included (Please click here to order the plug)
  • You may use a 100W transformer to operate at 110V
Speed Control Version:
  • 24V DC
  • A 110 - 240 VAC to 24 VDC power adapter is included for immediate use.

Max. Power Consumption
  • 20W

Front Panel & Speed Control

 There are two types of speed control, and please choose from the product option
  • Torque sensor control for R2R rolling press, 200g - 1000g adjustable via current
  • Speed control without torque sensor for R2R coating machine

 

     

 

Reeling Width
  • Width is adjustable from 2" - 8" for the flexible substrate material

Traverse Speed

 The film traverse speed is dependent on its calendering speed, normally <1.5 meters/min
For speed control mode, the maxium linear speed (under empty load) can be up to 16 m/min. 

Roller's O.D
  • Plastic roll (Min. roller ID 40 mm) is included for winding
  • Customized winding roller with 41mm ID x 50 - 80 mm OD is available upon request at an extra cost

Reeling/Unreeling Roll Diameter

 Max. 230mm

Application Notes
  • It is not allowed to use any MTI product in any hazardous location, especially prohibited from using in Class I environments (flammable gasses & vapor)
  • This R2R device can be upgraded with two unwinding rollers which allow you to feed two types of materials into the hot press simultaneously for lamination purposes, which can be DIY R2R coaters

Description

MSK-HRP-04-RD is an automatic Roll to Roll system designed for continuous handling of flexible substrate materials less than 200mm wide.
